Who We Are
OnTrack Auto Glass is a family owned and operated auto glass replacement company serving the greater Phoenix area. We are small on purpose, and that one decision shapes almost everything about how a job with us goes.
Our shop sits on North 1st Street in downtown Buckeye, a couple of blocks off Monroe Avenue and a short run from the Interstate 10 interchange at Watson Road. It is not a warehouse and it is not a franchise. There is no dispatch queue, no ticket number and no script. When you call, you are talking to the same handful of people who will be standing at your car with the glass in their hands.
The large glass chains run on volume. They win by fitting as many windshields into a route as the day will hold, and somewhere in that math the customer turns into a stop. We took the other road. We handle fewer vehicles, we give the urethane the time it actually needs to cure, and we would rather lose a job on price than rush an install we would only have to come back and redo.
That approach shows up in small ways. We will tell you when a chip can still be repaired instead of quietly selling you a replacement. We will tell you when your car needs a camera recalibration and when it does not. And if the honest answer is that another shop can get to you sooner than we can, we will say that too.

A windshield parked in the open in Buckeye can climb past 150 degrees on a July afternoon and then drop forty degrees the moment the air conditioning hits it. That daily expansion and contraction is what turns a harmless star chip into a crack running up to the A pillar overnight. It is also why thin adhesive and lazy pinch weld prep show up here far faster than they would in a milder climate.
The stretch of Interstate 10 running east from Verrado Way has been widened, repaved and coned off for years, and the loose shoulder rock that comes with all that work is the single most reliable source of new chips we see. Commuters who run that corridor into Phoenix every morning are the customers we quote most often, and most of them call us from the same three exits.
From July into September the storms push grit, palo verde branches and loose roofing across the West Valley. Every monsoon season brings a wave of back glass and door glass calls, usually the morning after a big blow. We have learned to keep the less common tempered pieces moving quickly, because a car with an open window sitting through a second storm is a much bigger problem than a broken window.

Assistance is available after the job is done. The relationship does not end when the trim goes back on. If you pick up a wind noise on the freeway a month later, or find a drip after the first real monsoon storm, you call the same number and we come back out.

No phone menu, no hold music, no national scheduling center that has never set foot in Buckeye. If we happen to be under a dash when you call, you get a call back the same day and usually within the hour.
The person who prices your glass is connected to the person who sets it. There is no handoff where the number quietly changes, no surprise fee that appears when the technician pulls up, and no argument about what somebody on the phone supposedly promised. What you were told is what happens.
Call us again in two years for a door glass on a different vehicle and you are not starting from scratch. We tend to remember the car, the street and which carrier you filed with last time, which makes the second call a lot shorter than the first.

How We Work
The parts of this job you never see are the parts that decide whether your windshield is still quiet and dry three summers from now.
We use top quality glass, adhesive and accessories on every vehicle, and we do not keep a cheaper tier on the shelf for price shoppers. Glass is a structural part of your car. It carries roof load in a rollover and it is the backstop the passenger airbag pushes against, so the bond between the glass and the body has to be right. Cut rate urethane and reused moulding are exactly where a low quote hides.
Mobile service is free. Not discounted, not waived above a certain ticket size, free. We bring the glass, the adhesive and the power to you, whether that is a driveway in Verrado, a shaded spot at your office in Goodyear or a job site out past Litchfield Park. All we need is a level place to park, enough room to open both front doors, and shade or a garage when the pavement temperature is extreme.
Our installation work carries a limited lifetime warranty. If a leak, a wind noise or a trim issue traces back to how we set the glass, we come back and correct it at no charge for as long as you own the vehicle. It does not cover new rock damage, because nothing does, but it does cover us.

Correct. Mobile service is free anywhere in our service area, with no trip charge and no minimum job size. The price we quote you on the phone is the price you pay when we arrive. We do most of our work at homes, offices and job sites rather than at the shop.
A limited lifetime warranty on our workmanship. If a leak, a wind noise or a trim problem comes from how we installed the glass, we come back out and fix it at no charge for as long as you own the vehicle. New rock damage is a new job, but anything that traces back to our install is on us.
We work with any insurance company. If you carry comprehensive coverage, your glass is very likely covered, and many carriers cover chip repair with no deductible at all. We will set up a three way call with you and your carrier so the claim is filed correctly the first time instead of getting kicked back a week later.
Plenty of our customers do, either because they carry liability only or because the deductible is higher than the job. We keep our out of pocket pricing competitive and we quote it up front over the phone. Ask about the chip repair option too, because a repair caught early costs a fraction of a replacement.
A windshield replacement is usually one to two hours from the time we arrive until the trim goes back on, and a chip repair is normally under thirty minutes. We will also tell you how long to let the adhesive set before you drive the car, which matters far more in a Buckeye summer than most people expect.
