Four Things We Promise

A Mobile Shop Built Around Your Schedule, Not Ours

OnTrack Auto Glass is a mobile auto glass service covering the Phoenix metro area, and the whole business is arranged around one idea: a damaged windshield should not cost you a morning off work. We are committed to a positive, hassle free customer experience from the first phone call to the moment the technician packs up, and these four promises are what that means in practice.

Friendly service from the minute you contact us

The first phone call sets the tone for everything after it. You get a person who listens to what happened, tells you plainly whether you are looking at a repair or a replacement, and quotes you a number. No script, no pressure, no being transferred three times before anyone can help.

Quick turnaround time

Chip repair is usually finished in under thirty minutes. A full windshield replacement typically takes one to two hours of work. Because we come to you, none of that time is spent driving anywhere, waiting in a lobby or arranging a lift home from a shop across town.

Quality and reliable work

Top quality glass, careful preparation and technicians who take the prep as seriously as the install. Mobile does not mean improvised. The same standards apply in your driveway that would apply in any shop bay, and the technician will tell you if conditions are not right for the work.

A limited lifetime warranty

This is the strongest thing we can offer and it belongs in plain sight. Our workmanship is covered by a limited lifetime warranty for as long as you own the vehicle, and if something we did needs putting right, we come back out to you to do it. There is a full section on exactly what that covers further down this page.

Start to Finish

Exactly How a Mobile Appointment Runs

Nobody books a service they cannot picture. So here is the whole thing, from the phone call to the moment we drive away, with no steps left out and nothing dressed up.

1

You call and describe the damage

What hit the glass, roughly how big the damage is, where it sits, and the year, make and model of the vehicle. From that we can usually tell you on the spot whether you need chip repair, a full windshield replacement, or one of the other pieces covered under all auto glass. You get a price before you commit to anything.

2

We sort the insurance side if there is one

If you carry comprehensive coverage, we set up a three way call with your carrier and handle the claim with you rather than sending you off to file it alone. That whole process is laid out on our insurance page. If you are paying out of pocket, we skip this step entirely and quote you a straight cash price.

3

You pick the place and the window of time

Give us an address and roughly when you are free. Same day where we can manage it, and a convenient slot where we cannot. You do not have to be standing next to the car the entire time, but you do need to be reachable and the vehicle needs to be accessible.

4

The technician arrives with the right glass already loaded

Correct part for your vehicle, adhesive, primer, trim clips and everything else needed to finish in one visit. He will walk around the car with you first, confirm the damage matches what was described on the phone, and flag anything unexpected before starting rather than halfway through.

5

The work gets done properly, then you get the real cure time

Old glass out without scoring the paint, the bed prepared correctly, new glass set square and even. The full detail of that process lives on our quality of work page. Before he leaves, the technician cleans up, walks you around the finished job and tells you honestly how long to wait before driving.

Your Side of It

Three Things to Have Sorted Before We Arrive

Your part of a mobile appointment is genuinely small, but getting it right is the difference between a smooth visit and a wasted trip for both of us.

Where we can actually do this

Almost anywhere the car can sit still for a couple of hours. A home driveway is the classic, and it is what most of our appointments look like. An apartment complex lot works fine as long as the space is not wedged between two trucks, and it is worth grabbing a spot near the edge of the lot before we arrive if you can. An office park is genuinely one of the best options going, because the car sits untouched all day anyway and you get the glass replaced during a workday you were spending at the desk regardless.

Job sites work too, and we do plenty of them out toward Buckeye and the west side. Just tell us when you book that it is a site rather than a street address, because access, surface and dust all factor into how the technician plans the visit. Covered parking structures are usually fine, though low clearance decks are worth mentioning ahead of time.

Where We Drive

Nine Cities, One Truck, No Distance Premium

Our shop sits on North 1st Street in Buckeye, which puts us at the far western end of the valley rather than in the middle of it. That turns out to be an advantage. We are already out here, so the west side towns that other shops treat as a long drive are simply our neighbourhood.

From Buckeye the run east along the Interstate 10 corridor takes us through Goodyear and Avondale, with Litchfield Park sitting just off it. North of there the northwest valley opens up: Surprise, El Mirage, Sun City and Peoria, all comfortably inside the same morning. And Phoenix itself, where a good share of our work happens in office lots and apartment complexes while people are at their desks. Every one of those is inside the service area at the same price, because the drive is ours to absorb and always has been.

If your address sits just outside that list, call anyway. The boundary is not a wall, and we would rather have the conversation than have you assume the answer.

The Strongest Thing We Offer

Our Limited Lifetime Warranty, In Plain Terms

This deserves more than a line in a bullet list. Our workmanship carries a limited lifetime warranty, which means the quality of the installation is guaranteed for as long as you own the vehicle. Not ninety days. Not a year. For as long as it is your car.

A warranty like this only makes commercial sense if the work is done properly the first time, and that is precisely the point of offering it. A shop that rushes installs cannot afford an open ended guarantee on its own workmanship, because it would be driving back out to fix the same three problems every month. Standing behind the work indefinitely is the most honest signal we can send about how carefully it is done.

What it does not cover is fresh damage, because no installer can stop the next rock on the Interstate 10. A new chip in glass we fitted last year is a new job, and we will say so. Being clear about that boundary is what makes the rest of the promise worth anything.

Reliability

We provide honest, reliable and skillful services, and our expert staff arrive on time and ready to work. For a mobile operation that is not a nicety, it is the entire product. If the truck does not show up when we said it would, with the correct glass already on board, nothing else we promise means very much.

Loyalty

Customer satisfaction is what turns a single repair into a solid long term relationship. We are a local family owned business handling windshield replacement at affordable prices, and we grow the way small local businesses have always grown, by being the number somebody passes to their neighbour.

The Honest Part

Sometimes the Weather Wins, and We Will Tell You So

Mobile auto glass has one genuine limitation and we would rather you hear it from us than discover it on the day. Adhesive is chemistry, and chemistry cares about the conditions it sets in. A few situations mean the right call is to reschedule rather than press on.

Rain and blowing dust

Water on the bonding surface compromises the seal, and a monsoon haboob puts grit exactly where grit must not be. Valley storms tend to arrive fast and leave fast, so the usual outcome is a delay of a few hours rather than a lost day, but we will not set glass into a wet or contaminated bed and call it finished.

Extreme heat, cold and the surface itself

Temperature affects how adhesive cures at both ends of the range, and a July afternoon in an unshaded lot is its own kind of problem. So is a steeply sloped driveway or soft ground that will not let the vehicle sit level. Any of those and we will suggest a different time or a different spot.

We say this plainly because the alternative is worse. A shop that installs regardless of conditions to protect its own schedule is handing you a bond it knows is compromised, and you will not find out until the first heavy rain or the first freeway drive. Telling you the truth costs us a slot in the calendar. Not telling you costs you a windshield.

Why mobile costs nothing extra

This is the question we get asked most, usually with a note of suspicion in it, because plenty of trades bill a call out fee. The answer is structural rather than promotional: we do not have a customer facing shop with a waiting room, a service writer and a row of bays sitting idle between appointments. The truck is the business. Driving to you is not an extra service layered on top of a shop visit, it is simply how the work happens.

So there is no trip charge, no fuel surcharge and no premium for a further suburb inside our service area. The quote you are given over the phone already includes us arriving at your address, and the number on the invoice matches the number you were told.

Mobile Service Questions

What People Ask Before They Give Us an Address

Everything below comes up regularly on the phone. If yours is not here, ask when you call and you will get a straight answer rather than a rehearsed one.

Does mobile service cost extra?

No. There is no trip charge, no fuel surcharge and no distance premium anywhere inside our service area. We do not run a customer facing shop, so driving to you is not an add on service, it is simply how the work happens. The quote you get on the phone already includes us coming to your address.

Do I have to be there the whole time?

You do not need to stand next to the car for the full appointment, but you should be on site or reachable by phone. The technician needs keys and access to the vehicle, and he will want a minute with you at the start to confirm the damage and at the end to walk you around the finished work and give you the cure time.

How long does the appointment take?

Plan on roughly two hours for a windshield replacement including setup and cleanup, and considerably less for a chip repair, which is usually under thirty minutes. Cure time is separate and follows the work, so the vehicle stays parked a while after the technician has finished and packed up.

Can you come to an apartment complex or an office lot?

Yes to both, and office lots are one of our favourite scenarios because the car sits still all day anyway. All we need is a level spot with a few feet of clearance on each side so the technician can work around the vehicle. If parking at your complex is tight, grabbing a space near the edge of the lot before we arrive makes everything easier.

What happens if it rains on the day?

We reschedule, and we will tell you as early as we can. Water or blowing dust on the bonding surface compromises the seal, and setting glass into a compromised bed is not something we will do to protect a calendar slot. Valley storms usually pass quickly, so it is often a delay of hours rather than days.

Which cities do you cover?

Nine of them: Avondale, Buckeye, El Mirage, Goodyear, Litchfield Park, Peoria, Phoenix, Sun City and Surprise. Our shop is in Buckeye, so the west valley is home ground, and the northwest valley and Phoenix itself are all inside the same service area at the same price. If your address sits just outside, call and ask rather than assuming.

What does the limited lifetime warranty actually cover?

Our workmanship, for as long as you own the vehicle. That means leaks, wind noise and trim that never sat right, and the warranty visit is mobile just like the original job. It does not cover fresh damage, because a new rock chip in glass we fitted last year is a new job rather than a warranty claim.
