What We Do
OnTrack Auto Glass is a local family owned business, not a franchise counter with a call center in another state. That shows up in small ways. The person who answers the phone knows the technician by name, the quote you are given is the quote you pay, and if something is not right after the job you are calling the same people who did the work.
Every service below is available across the greater Phoenix area with free mobile service, so the drive is on us. Our technicians are friendly, highly qualified and knowledgeable, and they carry top quality glass on the truck rather than whatever happened to be cheapest that week. We keep our prices among the most affordable in the valley by staying small and keeping our overhead low, not by cutting corners on the prep or the adhesive.
Hassle free windshield replacement for a cracked or damaged windshield. Most vehicles are finished in one to two hours in your own driveway, and we tell you exactly how long to let the adhesive set before you drive.
See windshield replacementWe can repair chips that have not spidered out yet. Catch it early, while the damage is under three inches and out of your line of sight, and a repair usually takes under thirty minutes instead of a full replacement.
See chip repairAuto glass is not only the windshield. This service covers door glass, quarter glass and back glass replacement, plus vent glass, on cars, trucks and SUVs across the valley.
See all auto glassA side window that has been smashed in a break in needs the frame and the door cavity vacuumed out, not just a new pane dropped in. We replace the glass and clean up the mess it left behind.
See car window replacementWe work directly with your insurance company and help you make the call, so the claim is filed correctly the first time and you are not left decoding your policy on your own.

See mobile serviceA Short Decision Guide
Most people call us describing the sound rather than the damage. A rock hit, a pop, a spreading line across the glass on the drive home. You do not have to diagnose it yourself, but if you want a rough idea before you pick up the phone, match what you are looking at to one of these four.
A chip or a short crack under about three inches, sitting away from the driver's line of sight, is usually a repair. The resin fills the break, stops it travelling and keeps your original factory seal, which is always the better outcome. Repairs are quick, often under thirty minutes.
Book it sooner rather than later. Arizona heat and a cold morning air conditioner are exactly the combination that turns a repairable chip into a replacement overnight.
Once a crack runs past roughly three inches, or it crosses the area you look through while driving, repair stops being the honest answer. Resin leaves a faint distortion, and distortion in your line of sight is not something you want to live with. That one is a replacement.
Damage that obstructs your clear view can also get you cited in Arizona, which is a separate reason not to let it sit.
Back glass, quarter glass, vent glass and door glass are all different animals from a front windshield. Most of them are tempered rather than laminated, which is why they turn into a pile of pebbles instead of cracking. Those jobs live under all auto glass.
Rear glass in particular often carries a defroster grid, and that changes how the piece has to be handled and reconnected.
A break in is its own kind of problem. The glass is not just missing, it is inside the door cavity, under the seat rails and down in the carpet. Replacing the pane without clearing the door is how you end up with a window that rattles and a regulator that jams a month later.
Tell us it was a break in when you call so the technician arrives ready for the cleanup as well as the glass.
Included Every Time
Some shops price the glass low and make it back on the extras. We would rather you knew the whole cost in the first phone call. Four things come with every service on this page, whether you booked a thirty minute chip repair or a full back glass replacement.
Those four are the floor, not the ceiling. Chip repair is included free when you have us do a full replacement, and if you want a tint strip added along the top of a new windshield, ask when you book rather than after the glass is set.
Why People Call Us Back
Reliability is the part of this trade that nobody advertises well, because it is invisible when it goes right. It means the technician arrives when we said he would, ready, with the correct glass for your vehicle already on the truck. It means honest work and skillful hands on a job you cannot inspect yourself once the trim goes back on. We would rather be the shop that turns up on time than the shop with the loudest ad.
Loyalty follows from that. We are not chasing a one time transaction. Customer satisfaction is what turns a cracked windshield on a Tuesday into a solid long term relationship, and a good share of our work now comes from people who called us once and kept our number.
Being family owned also keeps the price honest. We carry the overhead of a small local shop rather than a national brand, and that is the real reason we can quote some of the most affordable prices in the valley without touching the quality of the glass or the adhesive. Nobody here is working to a corporate margin target.
And because our technicians are friendly and knowledgeable, you can ask them what they are doing while they do it. Most people never ask. The ones who do usually end up understanding their own car a little better than they did that morning.

Before You Book
If your question is not here, ask it on the phone. We would rather spend five minutes explaining something than have you book a service you did not need.
The rough rule is size and position. Damage under about three inches that sits outside the driver's line of sight can usually be repaired. Anything longer than that, or anything sitting in the area you look through while driving, needs replacement. Describe it to us on the phone and we will tell you honestly which one you are looking at.
Yes. We handle back glass, door glass, quarter glass, vent glass and side windows as well as front windshields. Rear and side glass is usually tempered rather than laminated, so it behaves differently and the job includes clearing the fragments out of the door and the interior.
A full windshield replacement generally runs one to two hours from the time we arrive to the time the moulding goes back on. Chip repair is much quicker, usually under thirty minutes. We will also tell you how long to let the adhesive cure before you drive the vehicle, which is separate from the install time.
No. Free mobile service across the greater Phoenix area is how we work, not an add on. There is no trip fee and no distance premium inside our service area, and the quote you get on the phone already includes us coming to you.
Plenty of our customers pay out of pocket. We quote a competitive cash price up front, and that quote is the final price with no hidden fees. If you are not sure whether your policy covers glass, we can get on the phone with your insurer and find out with you before you commit to anything.
We work on cars, trucks, vans and SUVs. Tell us the year, make and model when you call, along with which piece of glass is damaged, and we will confirm we can source the right part before we schedule you rather than after.
Yes, a tint strip along the top of the windshield is available as an add on. Ask about it when you book the replacement rather than after the glass is already set, because it is far simpler to handle as part of the original job.

Not Sure Which One You Need
One phone call, a quick description of the damage, and a free quote before anyone drives anywhere. We come to you across the valley at no extra charge and we will handle the insurance claim with you if you have one.
